SANDRA CASHMAN - Crooked Stick Limited Edition Print
Sixth Hole at Crooked Stick

36" x 24" Oil on Canvas - Signed Limited Edition Print 164/600
Pre-eminent golf course architect, Pete Dye, calls Crooked Stick his "firstborn", and the sixth hole features the birth of classic Dye design elements. The picturesque covered bridge brings a bit of old-world nostalgia to the Scottish-style design.
Sandra Cashman has embraced a passion for art and nature ever since she created her first illustrated bird book in colored pencil at age seven. As a perpetual student of the arts, Cashman has made artistic ventures a part of every stage of life — from airbrushing murals on vans during college, to painting commissions of family homesteads while raising her own family.
Today as COO of EPIC Creative, a successful advertising agency specializing in golf course maintenance, Cashman focuses her talents, both professionally and artistically, on golf. Also an avid gardener, golfer, and nature lover, Cashman feels a connection with the values that draw golf course superintendents to their chosen profession.
She says, "When I want to capture what's special and unique about a golf landscape, I think there's no better way to get in touch with the spirit of the place than spending time with the keeper and caretaker of the land and the game. Whether at a Top 100 or a humble daily fee property, golf course superintendents truly are the artists in their own right."
She is becoming nationally recognized among golf course superintendents, both professionally and artistically, as someone who loves what she does, and happily, does what she loves.
